I'm Sorry, Anderson Cooper I Love Ya, But It Had To Be Said

Okay, I can understand wading in for a brief shot and then wading out. It's dramatic. I get it. But standing for two hours in waist deep water that contains snakes, dead rats, and God knows what else? As I said in my post yesterday, all I can do is sigh, shake my head, and hope he has all his shots. At least he didn't try to drink it. Remember when Miles O'Brien tasted the water to see if it was from the ocean, while Chad Myers yelled at him to no avail? I swear, sometimes I wonder about these CNNers. Good thing they're loveable.

Edited because though the water may have contained waste, it was not "waste" deep. *sigh*

WTF is wrong with this man???

I am STILL p..ed at him asking Chad about going to Galveston the other night before the storm hit!

I just wanted to smack him...to see if he had lost his last marble or something!

Oh,and even though I was mad enough to shake the stuffings out of him,I STILL adore him!LOL

Miles tasted the water???

Good,lord......

Speaking of Miles,I miss seeing him...I feel he is being wasted at CNN these days.
I just gave up on American Morning when they changed the anchors,it was not fair to him or Soledad.

LMAO Eliza....."at least he didn't TASTE it"!!!!!!!!

The thing is, I would not put it past him.

Anon 7:37am - I agree with you. I was so ready to shake that little silver head til his azure eyes rattled when he mentioned going to Galveston! No point, no point. LOL. (and yes, I still adore him as well...isn't it infuriating?).

Yes, there he stood for a much longer period of time than necessary, pulling at those enormous waders, putting his hand in the disgusting water....and no doubt touching his face, biting his nails, etc, etc. What a "guy".

Yep, he is a mess, God Bless him, and should he not appear tonite, we can rest assured that he is stuck in the bathroom. Ugh! :P

@anonymous 7:37 AM--Wow, you're quite violent with your affection. :P I'm not mad, just bemused, really. He's been (sometimes stupidly) putting himself in danger since before I started watching him--I don't see that changing. Like I said, good thing the CNNers are lovable. ;P

Yes, Miles tasted the water! The best part was Chad yelling at him. I miss Miles too. Did you know he Twitters?

@pati mc--Yes, sometimes the guys are, well, all boy. I don't think they ever grow up actually. Speaking of being sick, did you know that Brian Williams actually got pretty sick from Hurricane Katrina? He was able to do shots by sitting down and the viewers were none the wiser. Until he told us, that is. Heh.

Wow Eliza I did not know that about Brian. That is awful. I like him. Did you see him on The Colbert Report last week? He and Steven crack me up, he is great on there. Poor Brian having to do the news sitting down. What dedication!

Um, here I am going on about another anchor. Hope Anderson does not find out. heh heh.

@Pati mc--I love Brian too. He's my network TV boyfriend. But no, I didn't know he was on Colbert. I have that recorded, but haven't watched, so thanks for the heads up.
