Weekend Interlude: More David Gergen Love Revealed

Columnist Rosie DiManno thought she had David Gergen all to herself. Oh, how wrong she was:

For the past year, I have been nursing a totally goofy crush.

On an old white guy, with a booze-bulbous nose, receding chin, thinning hair and a hoarse voice so deep down in his throat it's almost in his belly button. Which is probably a really cute outie.

David Gergen is a professor of public service at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government, former White House adviser to both Republican and Democratic presidents, CNN's senior political analyst and the most non-partisan talking head on television.

We've never actually met, sigh. But many nights, I've felt that we're pseudo-canoodling, he on the tube, me on the couch, all snugly and pre-coital. (More)
