Anderson Cooper Interviews Lewis Black At The Time Warner "Politics 2008 - The Media Conference On The Election Of The President." Summit

Update: So, apparently TVNewser just linked to me. I am referred to as "this blog" in their post. There's an Obama "that one" joke here somewhere.

Two of my favorite people discussing some of my favorite topics. Lovers of rants (NSFW) and giggles will not be disappointed. Enjoy:

I think Lewis is a good comic, but I can't believe how he attacked that one questioner.

I don't think he was necessarily attacking the questioner or what he said directly - he was kind of agreeing with him in a very angry way and taking it in another direction.

I really appreciate and agree with the woman who said she thought his level of rage was appropriate...

I'm glad Lewis Black pointed out that we shouldn't lump all the people in government together, as if they are not individuals. It's very easy for us all to fall into that "government is bad" trap. That he ranted at someone--not unusual. I've seen him live third row. Usually at least one person is left scathed by the end of the night. The first time I saw him on tv, I was so excited, and wondered who this person was that looked like they were going to have a heart attack any minute. I love his rage--it's appropriate.
